Our story

A Place at the Table

We don't need to tell you the world feels fractured right now. And it's easy to feel like there's nothing you can do about it. We think Robert Putnam had it right: communities fall apart when people stop spending time together. The fix starts with getting people back around the same table.

So we opened a board game cafe. Because few things bring people together like a good game and a drink.

We want this to be a space where everyone feels welcome. Come as you are, play what you want, stay as long as you like. Our $8 cover is the lowest in the city because access matters to us.

We put real effort into the coffee, the beer, and the food because we love those things and think you deserve the good stuff. We also try to keep prices fair because we're working people too.

We use technology to make gaming easier for everyone. Our Looking for Group board helps you find people to play with before you even walk in. Our AI rules assistant can explain any game in our library, in any language, right at your table.

And we build our events and our game collection around what the community actually wants. This is your place. If you have an idea for an event or an offering you think people would love, tell us. [email protected].
