Boards out, clocks optional, all levels.
Open chess play every Sunday afternoon. Boards and clocks provided, casual games by default, with a rotating side format (blitz ladder, themed puzzles, occasional casual tournaments) for anyone who wants structure.
No ratings required, no stakes, no one narrating your blunders (unless you ask). It's the quiet corner of our week: coffee, a board, and someone across it.
Casual players, rusty players, kids with a parent, strong players who want casual games without app-grinding.
Any level. Staff will match you roughly by strength if you want.
Not formally, but the regulars are happy to teach and staff will pair a beginner with someone patient.
